It is not that "no other first world nation" has these problems. The fact is that US cops kill more (mostly unarmed, innocent) civilians on a regular basis than almost ANY COUNTRY EARTH, outside of North Korea, Eritrea, and maybe Somalia!

More than 500 US civilians are killed by police every year. Go look at the statistics for other countries.

No. US Cops kill 500 people a year. Why is it 500? Because @OP thought that sounded better than 400 or 600 or any number less than or equal to the number of citizens in the USA.
