apparently i'm playing the new WoW expansion. I'll at least be leveling through the new content and then i'll run some dungeons and maybe do a raid or two but that'll be as far as i'll go with it this time. I might then also start leveling up another low lever character, and i've got a free boosted level 90 that i don't know what to do with. I've got a lowly hunter i might level up or i might make a new class i've never played and level that. maybe paladin. i can't get into it like i used to. it's fun to level up and do some dungeons and i like crafting gear to level but i'm not going to even try anything more than pretty casual gameplay. no interest in raiding for sever firsts anymore.

so it looks pretty damn amazing in 4k. everything is so smooth and perfect looking, no jaggies at all. even plays at 90fps at 4k which is pretty awesome.

sweet, crafted my first epic yesterday. a 640 item level belt, which is pretty good. took ten days worth of blacksmithing cooldowns and something like 60 or 70 work orders at the Forge to gether all the mats i needed.
only 7 more to go.
so, i'll need another blacksmith to put together a tier set in less than 2 months. luckily i have a boosted level 90 available i can add and that'll give me another blacksmith and i can half the time it'll take.
unfortunately i only have 1 alliance toon over 80 so if i want to start playing my rogue then i'll need to level up an old alt to 90 if i want a farmer. which is lame.
anyway, about to unlock heroic dungeons which is the next step before raiding. couple of weeks of farming instance lockouts for placeholder gear and i'll be all set for the long game.
only 7 more to go.

by the way my warrior is now max level 100. went from 90 - 100 in less than a week. leveling is really fast now compared to all the previous iterations. there's also a lot of +100 content, like a lot. there's even a whole zone that sits unexplored. apparently that's going to be the end game content zone which will be opened up in a few months as the new end game raids get added.
also profession leveling has a real nice buff which makes it easy to progress quickly through all the old content. still it'll probably take a brand new player 72 - 100 hours or so of game time to level from 1 - 100. i may be overestimating though since it used to take more like 200 hours+ and i'm only going off how long it took to level 1-90 in the last expansion.
anyway, i'm trying to decide what class to boost to 90, if it's going to be a farmer then i guess it doesn't really matter. maybe a monk, since i hate druids. i already have a level 74 shaman so i'll probably not make another one of those. and it won't be a healer, i hate healing. i won't plan on raiding with it or doing much more than 10 minutes worth of cooldown management every day so it really won't matter, but i will have to level it up to at least 94 to unlock all the blacksmith junk so i don't want to have a hard time with it. pallys are a faceroll class... i'll probably do that. but i kinda hate pallys... hmmm.

if you find your way to the Korialstrasz realm you'll find me horde side under the name gargarehgarah or something like that. i'll post it later when i can see how it's spelled. also i have some toons on pvp realms but they are all low level twinks and the like.

oh yeah, i forgot that wow is still probably free to play. you can play up to level 20 or something which is enough to gain major abilities and access to the early dungeons which are a lot of fun. so if anyone wants to try it out i'd be happy to start a new toon on a new server and group up for some fun low level stuff. i'll roll a tanking class or a healer and play a support role.

update: so been level 100 for about a week now and i've been running heroics and doing upkeep. my gear item level is now 635 which means the High Maul raid is unlocked for me. it's the first end-game content of the expansion. i don't know anything about it, but it's like going after some Orc General or something. anyway, i'll do that sometime towards the weekend.
so turns out that True Iron bars can't be traded, so the idea of a backup blacksmith is a no go. i'll just farm raids for better than craft gear anyway. so, i'm selling the gear i can craft which actually sells for a fuckton of gold.
