Topic: what e-reader should I get for my grandma?

Anonymous A started this discussion 12 years ago #38,315

She likes to read but doesn't have access to books as much as she used to. It needs to be simple to use with a very friendly ui and the ability to sideload books into folders.

Additional things that would be nice are a backlight and physical button controls, but they're not a gamebreaker.

Thank you!

@OP
I'd recommend Kindle Paperwhite. Books can be sideloaded into the Kindle in .mobi or .pdf by plugging it into the computer. I can't remember if you can make folders on the device (I broke the screen on mine earlier this year) but the UI was very simple and easy to use.
