@OP
That would be the perfect vector for government malware, like Goldstein's Book in 1984...

Not sure if you guys are being serious or not. If so, that's your choice, then. I don't know if I'll download it eiter, though that's more out of laziness and apathy than suspicion.

Note that it is coming from Amnesty International, who probably aren't a government front.

isn't that exactly what a government front would want you to think?

It was released as a joint thing, "Detekt is released in partnership with Amnesty International, Digitale Gesellschaft, Electronic Frontier Foundation and Privacy International."

They do tell you its limited to 3 prime sources of Gov spy "eye" Nor do they even support the latest Win 8.1 (which is shit without the classic add-on)

Also you really do want to run it on Iphone with your wi-fi turned OFF
Androids end up a mixed bag - results end up with lulz in labs just minutes away from me - So far no Smart phone or tablet has crashed but its safer to have no ISP net/wi-fi connect because that software should be labeled Not quite Beta. Good intentions and poor execution at get go - Developers are getting a huge amount of feedback directly from Samsung and Apple

Best wait a bit until software is updated.
