Topic: wow, i really thought yahoo couldn't get any worse

squeegee started this discussion 12 years ago #38,313

now the "news" is just celebrity gossip and click bait slideshows with broken pictures. also half the time the article is about a fucking picture of something and they don't even link to the picture.

"new picasso found, see how pretty it is" [no picture]

"new hilarious viral video gone viral" [no video]

"taylor swift is shickingly skinny in new pics" [no pictures]

the fuck, yahoo. the fuck. you're garbage, please get out of my url bar thanks.

half the articles link to huffpo and most of them bork so you can read articles, see picsor anything. the other half are links to trash sites like gossip blogs and aggregators. just awful.

i still use it for a couple of trash email accounts from back in the day and so i end up on their front page enough. i usually skip it and go to mail, but sometimes i end up clicking on their bait threads and these days i'm always disappointed.

"top ten most gorgeous women on earth" [slideshow with no pics]
"can this [new science idea] change the world?" [ad for penis enlargement]

Hahaha. Well, penis enlargement could change the world. It would be a world with larger penises in it.

Aha, I too have a few Yahoo email addresses that are for stuff like that. I do the same thing! I actually do like the way the news feed is setup, too bad it's all total shit tier news. I'd browse the news there all the time if it were decent articles and such.
