Also wot a shock to view a local hero of Cardiff by the Sea.

Looks very generic, uninspired. Like his food guide logo!

@512,495 (Metæ)
IF not so busy I wood and lots of lulz to this thread from Hamburger comments Matt made on gokunming. Paraphrased from memory.
Around the time Matt first joined GK - He made positive comments about eating at McD's - Not a single member there however remembered those early posts (which are still on the GK site)
Later he rages on when Expats rave about McD quality - Bottom line of course is Expats say they cannot stomach the local Chinese cuisine and eat at McD's - Matt continues to go in2 rages and ends up leaving that forum only to come back hiding with a new moniker and then the Hamburger debates continue.
So the true bottom line is McD's according to Expats is the only safe place to eat - BUTTTTTTTTT McD's as a corporation has had terrible Stock Market stomach aches because they got caught up in the China food scandals.
Gutter oil is a term used in China to describe illicit cooking oil that has already been used and is then processed by cleaning and filtering to be resold as a cheaper alternative to normal cooking oil. The sources of this oil are restaurant fryers, sewers and leftover or used oil that is sold by restaurants. A newer version of gutter oil uses discarded animal parts, animal fat, internal organs, and expired or otherwise low quality meat which is then cooked in large vats in order to extract the oil.
Expired meat sold to global brands
Shanghai Husi Food Co Ltd supplied products containing expired meat to McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and Burger King. The products where sold in numerous countries including Japan.
McDonald's Corp and KFC's parent Yum Brands Inc apologized to Chinese customers after the scandal was exposed. Shanghai Husi Food Co Ltd based in China is a unit of U.S.-based OSI Group LLC.
"The company was forced in July 2014 to shut down after local television station Dragon TV ran footage of the company's factory workers picking hamburger patties and meat from off the factory floor and throwing them directly into meat mixers. Also bare hands handled poultry and beef on the assembly line. The footage also showed sewage and trash spread on the floor of the processing plant. In addition, the expired meat, which was described as “stinky” by workers, was either concealed by mixing it together with non-expired meat, or simply altering its expiration date"
McDonald's CEO acknowledges image problems after tough results
(Reuters) - McDonald's Corp (MCD.N) Chief Executive Officer Don Thompson owned up to some corporate image problems on Tuesday after it posted a nearly one-third drop in quarterly profit and warned that its global restaurant sales would fall again this month.
KFC in Kunming ran in2 the horrid water problem which ended up with those strange results where toilet water as cleaner then out of tap - totally boggles my mind!

Excuse me not really
You Yes YOU u may be upon some high authority? makes no difference 2me whatsoever. Look at the Topic. My reply is not only On Topic There are two replies in this thread that are totally off base and yes at least one, I should have reported. Sometimes driving authorities nuts is considered not so much a good Idea. It was good once upon a tyme to drive Nazi authority Nuts So just a reminder about Authority and authority abuses.
So notice my reply to Meta @512,495 (Metæ) > Limited hamburgers?
I follow the stock market at times very very close - In USA and in much parts of Planet Earth McD's is a huge deal corporation wise. Yum brands (KFC Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and WingStreet worldwide. [Recently they dumped Long John Silver's and A&W]
My content re the reply was/is new from my fingers to keys on MC.
