We are all concerned about you. Why is it that you can only eat, say, half of one carrot for a meal? What happens if you try to eat a decent amount of nutritious food?

I get nauseous and throw up very easily. Most meals consist of a smoothie and/or Greek yogurt, which seems to be working pretty well.
I don't have an eating disorder: I asked my therapist, and an eating disorder is connected to body image issues. I don't have any, I just feel sick.

Have you been to a medical doctor? You obviously have a physical problem then. Wouldn't you like to be able to eat normally?

I have. I would.
Pretty sure it's connected to anti-depressants. I hope/plan to be off them by spring, so I'm not really worried about it.

I see. Well, best of luck. May I ask why you will be stopping your anti-depressants?

Doctor said that depression usually lasts around a year, which'd mean I'd probs be done by now, but winter in the northern hemisphere tends to worsen it for many people, so I should stay on them until spring just to be sure. If they're still necessary after that I'll ask for a different one, but I'm not too fussed about mostly eating smoothies and Greek yogurt. They're tasty AND healthy!

But that certainly cannot be enough calories, can it? Also, do you mean only SAD is a year? I have had depression most of my life, and my doctor said I will probably have to be on meds for life.

Apparently it is. :3 I started putting sugar and cream in my coffee to get more calories.
No, I don't mean SAD, I mean major depressive disorder. I'm aware that depression is a life-long thing, but that's what the doc said and I can hope.

Then I hope you can be out of it in a year. I suffered from Depression and Bi-polar for years before being treated, and I am pretty sure I will be on meds for life.

You could have a bezoar in your stomach or some blockage. Intestinal parasites are also possible.

Eat peanut butter, pound for pound it's some of the most caloric rich food you can eat. Dip or coat everything in peanut butter. Food and sleep are both important and if you're struggling with both you're gonna have a bad time.

Thanks man I'll try it! Found out I could eat Greek yogurt without any issues so that's been a really good thing lately. Healthy and filling :3
