It probably did hurt him a bit, though I would expect a battle hardened troll with 20+ years of experience like Matt to have a substantially thicker skin than, say, an insecure teenager with self esteem issues with regard to online insults.
Given Matt's propensity to make duplicate threads only days apart, I believe he may have short term memory loss and has forgotten about completely.
