My hopes and expectations were low for this, given its history, but it's actually a really beautiful piece of work. It doesn't break any new ground, and it's nowhere near the standard of their great 5 albums (Meddle - Dark Side of the Moon - Wish You Were Here - Animals - The Wall), but it does nicely revisit and echo the ground they once broke all those years ago.
Check it out if you like ambient music, exquisitely played. Just don't expect a rock album as such, because this isn't one. It's an album to close your eyes and dream to, and remember the great talent that was Richard Wright.
