Couple 3 reasons. And I mean Cloudflare because OP said Cloud Firewall and Cloudflare is rater infamous as chan providers but NOT necessarily known as the very best - very good but NOT the bestestest
1: Founders are famous for being the Honeypot guys - anyone that has dealt with DDoS over the many years on many forums knows Project Honeypot and any forum Sysops was encouraged to and and contribute to project Honeypot
2: There servers are always Co-Lo with a major server farm with all the benefits of massive air conditioning and as import extensive AC power back up.
In LA and San Jose, Cloudflare, is Co-Lo with AT&T and for long periods of time I had an office in each of those facilities and often walked by the Tech (just one tech at each location) sitting at his desk doing trouble tickets (Tech has huge support staff where ever Cloudflare is located - probably corp headquarters - Never an office but often walked on by the same in Verizons Co-Lo in Dallas and the same for France where Cloudflare is Co-Lo with L3 - Oh L3 which is a humungous operation is also Co-Lo in the LA/San Jose locations

I think Clouflare has about 30 servers around Planet Earth. My have been next door or even inside a Co-Lo with Cloudflare in place but they may have been located on floors I never go in2 nor even had the credentials to get in2.
Co-Lo's have super hi security in order to keep all from terror and hackers who are 2lazy to crack n want 2 go directly 2 the source so it takes some fancy security to keep the bad guys out which means even eye a good guy has to have a good reason to even open a door or take elevator to another floor - Very similar to 3 letter Gov agencies on getting in NOT that it stopped Snowden

On re-read that statement of mine could be miss-understood completely. I meant to say servers many servers at about 30 locations.
A lookC at their posted map says its 28 locations Planet Earth wide and from a look clearly I have only had a chance to be in or near a small percent
NOT that that is of any value because other then chit chat with techs in 2 location and that was just cause the guy at the trouble ticket desk looked very bored did I say hello n stop to chat
