So where i live, which is a frozen rock in the Atlantic ocean, doctors have gone on strike. Even though doctors are part of the elite, there is just no matching what salaries they can get in other places. If i were a dictator, i could solve this problem with an iron hand. But i can't, we live in a time of globalism.
So what is happening now is that no longer is it enough for a society to produce doctors, it has to thank them for being doctors with salaries that is sure to cause the decline of the poor. When doctors can just move to wealthier places then the less wealthy places are forced to compete with that which obviously it can't without a significant cost: The death of the children who are poor.
I really don't know. But when you are a leader, would you allow doctors to go away when a lot of children need them? Would you allow them to continually make whatever demands they want?

people used to be able to break a leg and have it set at the ER with a cast for almost an office visit rate. now it's like 500 bucks just to be admitted.

Slave doctors, or doctors obligated to pay back what society gave them? Anyone who chooses massive salary of doctors rather then children who aren't dead, well they are immoral.

Every doctor that came before, before they got too greedy and smart. When they realized that they could be more wealthy then the upper classes in its own society.... it choosed the death of children over greater levels of wealth. It is not sane to prefer wealth over the lives of children.

You are foolish if you think a doctor's wage (that makes you a part of the upper classes) is a slave wage. You might as well ask who will clean the hotel rooms or streets, who will do all the hard labor if they have to work for less then the slave wages of that which a doctor gets? It is as if you are implying that is better to be unemployed.
What we are talking about here is a limit, a limit that states that you cannot threaten the lives of children.

its not so much as a limit as is is a mutual agreement. If you are to become a doctor then you will be permitted to live comfortably, to be the upper class. You will have to put your talent into use however and not threaten the lives of children. OR you can work for less then slave wages.

Iceland is is is really exciting dramatic at times and has some fantastic unique places to eat

I do know what it takes for someone to end up MD in USA as I am sure see cash flow out of my wallet to get my daughter at Harvard Med to end up MD and its so fare been 6 years of premed and now not less then 8 years beyond - Look up wot it takes to be MD in Iceland and then lets talk about why perhaps they want more for their wallets

He has a point though. It is ridiculously expensive to learn how to be a doctor. In terms of student lone. I feel though that it doesn´t change a shit, syntax, its a comfortable life to be a part of the upper classes in places such as iceland. It is by no means a difficulty that grants you the right to threatened children and the well being of a society in general

Fully agree that kids need protection during the strike - now this may seem a crazy idea but I bet you could think of one way to get WORLDS attention and get a slew of doctors and nurses to fly in quickly and all you need is just a few visitors from a couple of African countries
