Why would you want a glass for beer? More convenient to just drink from the bottle.

A beer should be poured with a head on it. Is it also more convenient to drink wine from the bottle?

Well, if a layer of foam means that much to you.

And no, wine bottles are bigger and not usually meant to be drank whole.

What people outside the US see of America's culture comes from what they see from Hollywood. It's like someone seeing a bunch of hentai and thinking that's how everyone in Japan acts like, except Hollywood is worse.

Anonymous U joined in and replied with this 12 years ago, 7 minutes later, 2 weeks after the original post[^] [v] #511,675

There is no USAmerican "culture". It's just a bunch of rich, white, bland Midwesterners, or backwoods hick racist Southerners.

That's less than half whites. The other half are leftists. And non-hispanic whites are only about 60% of the US. The black and hispanic cultures in the US are gradually dominating.

I mean, it was as backwoods as you can get. Some hick southerner whose crowning culinary achievement was boiling some chicken and sausage in mud soup. Fucking USAmerican hillbillies. When I went to Lyons, I regaled my French colleagues with this anecdote and we all laughed at the fucking backwoods retards who think mud soup and rice in a pig colon is "fine cuisine".

Good point. I actually expected movies and music to be mentioned ITT, I assumed they were appreciated by other cultures. I mean don't we kind of dominate music, movies, and the internet? Given those mediums being consumed by people around the world I thought people would have at least some thoughts about our culture. I'm a bit surprised there are seemingly no serious answers.
