I have heard psychics say that if a deceased loved one appears in your dream and it is very realistic, it means that the dead person is actually visiting you in your dream, saying hello or sending a message. Do you think this is true? Because I had that sort of dream last night.

You can't know 100% for sure, just like we can't know the matrix isn't actually real. Everyone is thus free to believe their own beliefs, but in my worldview there exists no such thing as the supernatural. We're all just clumps of neurons contained in a fleshy shell, I don't see how there would be any magical communication between these clumps when they are not physically connected.
