But why not take a more scientific view of things?

I base my morals on what I'd like or not like others to do to me.

Its not that he should look at it more scientifically, but rather its why he doesn't? What makes him think that in the evil world what we live in, people should be good? Why not form morality on facts about humans themselves, like that some of them are evil? Can't one reasonably assume that some people should be evil?

@previous (S) > Can't one reasonably assume that some people should be evil? Should be evil? Do you have a basis for reasonably assuming that?

Sorry I failed to label the photo and clearly you fail to have a clue about LA
Photo abouve is San Diego and now for the math
6,432,212, Kunming
3,211,252 San Diego
Now Anon W there is a website for expats from USA Canada England Ireland and anywhere white people live cause Chinese racists and do not accept English teachers otherwise (based on wot they say here
gokunming.com
And a for instance about how expats feel
Kunming is such as depressing city...
Every time I eat Chinese food I s*** it all out 10 minutes later.
The food around here sucks. How much rice can you eat? Really? No wonder these people around here look like sticks. Rice with a tiny bit of meat mixed in doesn't fill me up.
I bet if I was in Manila or Quezon City, I would be able to find something to eat that fills me up.
If I stay here much longer I am going to look like I was in a Nazi Concentration Camp.
God this place sucks....
"the water in my flat goes out for one or two days at a time, and it usually starts in the late morning. It seems to be a summer thing. Is this normal for people around Kunming, or is it just my place?"
"All of Kunming smells like fermented urine"
Even Dirtier - Chinese Toilet Habits
Children learn bad toilet habits from young. They will literally stoop and pee or defecate on the street, despite there being a public toilet 10 metres away.
Apart from the germs spread by spitting and blowing your nose everywhere, there are other things you have to contend with in Kunming China. Perhaps the vilest of these are the toilet habits of the Chinese, so vile so that they deserve a chapter to themselves.
But the toilet habits of many Chinese are beyond printable. They are extraordinarily dirty. Sometimes, I think even a dog has cleaner potty habits than many of them.
