I no what the metaphor is and where it originated from. And next door to where I live as in Neighbor and photo is one of their several Koi Ponds - Neighbor religion albeit not Hindu, the founder was a Hindu and the current Church is based on many of the Hindu beliefs one of which is the Touch the Cow's Tail
So for them its not just a state of mind its the deep felt need to reach out and touch a real tail of a living cow so they can tell the tail/tale and then and only then in minds eye have completed the physical action
