I noticed that when I sleep for 1 or 2 hours I feel refreshed yet when I sleep more than 8 hours I feel like shit. Why is that?

2 hours?? A very small percentage of humanity actually requires only 2 hours: maybe you are simply among that group. But if you only got 2 hours every night for, say, a year, would you still feel ok?

I can't keep track of my poor sleep schedule. I just know that when I fall asleep for an hour or so I feel much better. Then I end up tired once again.
I also feel like shit after waking up after 5 or so hours then falling asleep for another hour then waking up fine.

If I sleep 5-6 hours I feel like ironman the whole day... if I end up sleeping more than 9 hours my day is ruined, I feel so weak and lifeless after too much sleep, it's horrible. Worse than a hangover.

I usually sleep 12/13 hours a night because the melatonin shit I take is super goddamn strong.

Sleep is highly over rated. I plan on making up for lack of one day. That day will be the day I am planted 6 feet under. To much fun to much work to allow for to much sleep currently
Solution for little sleep is

If I'm on my feet, or doing shit I don't... but if I lay down in my bed, and watch boring shit on TV I get the feeling I could take a nap.
Otherwise, nope, I really feel amazing with 5-6 hours of sleep daily...

9-10 hours is ideal for me. I can function on 7-8 if I need to. Any less than 7 and I am basically dead the whole day.

A good 3 hours is enough. More than that is too much. I prefer dymaxion sleep cycle.

Last few weeks seals in my Ocean a Blue. Porpoise do not attract sharks here but seals do and just north of me sharks have consumed surfers as they go after seals.
Seals have been wayyyyy to friendly -

I wish my body could take that much sleep. It'd be a more normal sleeping pattern. I haven't done it this past year, but that's a first.
