It makes me happy. I still hold down multiple careers, have friends, women, a nice place, money, etc. I drink heavily every night, and it makes me happy. What is so wrong with that?

@previous (A)Thanks for acknowledgment that u used to type out the number 4 and now admit is far more. Dozen when counted and I have counted several tymes on several topics is perhaps if average a decent number.
Nor do I look at just GK. You no there are several forums Expats hang at. And then there are several as in far more then 12 most excellent blogs by others who are not on GK.
So its really a fair honest question because frankly I find it hard to understand how so many people end up in the situation they have found themselves in to survive. So many who actually have college degrees yet ended up for one reason or the other living there,
One who does email with me now for a few weeks says he is there because he met his now wife outside China and she gets depressed if not close to her family. He hates China and his posts on GK express it openly - His wife who is educated and has lived outside of China hates it as well but its the need for family that keeps her back in China.

Alcohol is an antiandrogen and interferes with the production of various enzymes found in the liver. Thus it is quite harmful, even if you don't want to be a father. You're doing harm to your masculinity and can have complications later on due to low T. There are other health problems associated with alcohol, most of which are not so widely publicized. It slows your thinking down, even when you're not under it's influence. Alcohol is a poison and should be regarded as such. I don't drink it anymore because of what it's done to me and my ability to think. I am recovering from this and I would be happy if someone was able to do the same.
