Crystal Geyser tastes like shit. I'd rather drink Poland Spring - also tastes like shit. What's the attraction to spring water? I'd rather drink tap water or any other overpriced bottled water like Dasani or Smart Water.

Because of advertising. I would rather buy filtered or distilled water. The reason some people prefer spring water is because there are minerals that get removed from filtered or distilled water and some people believe that those minerals enhance the taste. That is why some filtered waters, like Dasani, claim to add minerals to the water to enhance the flavor. Frankly, I'm fine with just drinking tap, as that's what most of this bottled water bullshit is anyway.

You could bottle your own spring water at this place near my cousins. I also remember drinking from a spring directly while a boy scout (lol, probably a terrible idea, but an older scout sai we could. So we did.)
It tasted fresh though. Cool and nice.

I find filtered water much easier to drink. My tap water at my parents was fine, but I've not really encountered any water from elsewhere I can drink more than enough to swallow a pill.
