Until I wised up yearrrrrs ago, on 7-10 day back packs in the High Sierras and photo is 100% representative of one of my MOST Fav areas to stop over aka Thousand Island Lakes, I used to carry a couple of cans of Spam for mostly meat other then the freeze dried concoctions which were mostly based on technology from NASA for Astronauts.
Spam and those Vienna sausages which are really lame but after 5 days without REAL FOOD them Cans offered much Happiness. Cans not so much so good re WEIGHT not needed. Trade offs I made so as to carry fyne Cognac in a metal flask as Plastic also not so much so good for Alcohol beverages. + I insisted on carrying a Real Cognac glass (small)
In from one hell of a Sat evening which was NOT NOT NOT all play - Had to go on a Pager and carry a cell phone. YEP I shocking as it may be DO NOT Usually go out evenings for fun and have Cell phone 99.9% of the tyme. Has to do with years n years of being on Umbilical cord, every where I went and often 2 Pagers and 2- to 4 Cell phones cause back THEN - and even as today/nite Coastal areas will ALWAYS have Crappy Cell phone coverage and I mean ALWAYS will be the case. So Verizon may be best 3 blocks from where I live but 20 Miles North of me n its Fucked UP AT&T that covers the Coast Hwy 101 for 20 miles far more better cause AT&T struck a deal with Marine base to allow their towers n Verizon failed to strike such a deal years ago
OF COURSE With a Globalstar phone that uses Verizon, when no need for Satellites - One just swings small antenna up on phone and coverage is 100% all the way Cell towers or not - Selling super well in Malibu were regular cellphones Suck Suck Sucky Suck re Coverage Coastal and Canyons NEVER EVER GOING TO WORK without someones Satellite
Tonite was a lot lot lot of Interruptions cause my FUCKING Pager kept going off putting me in Fun Interrupt~Tus.

I have been sicker here from the food than any other city in China I've never seen a place deteriorate so fast. At the moment, Kunming is the most unlivable place I've ever lived in.
Yesterday I paid for some meat dish and I could smell how bad it was and it was 25 yuan. I just left it-
