Topic: Should Minichan mods ban posters on friday and saturday nights?

It would seem that if you use this site or, in fact, any of the internet at these times you are socially retarded and need to be publicly shamed. You need to be protected from yourself and your bad habit of using Minichan at an inappropriate time from 7pm friday until 7am sunday.

Luckily there are geolocating moderators here that can track posters and monitor their timezones. Short bans could be used to remind posters that friday night is approaching and that they need to leave and post elsewhere for the weekend.

This of course wouldn't apply to syntax, and I'm sure he will support this idea.

No, because then Minichan mods would have to ban themselves for using The Board on weekends.

Also, why is geolocation necessary to find a user's time zone? You wouldn't need geolocation to figure the timezones of most posters here. If someone says they live in [city] you can just go to Google and type in "time in [city]" and there you go. No ten myle geolocation necessary.

I think that it should be put in place. Moderators could at least geolocate posters and check their timezones and scold them if they are posting at inappropriate times.
