Why is it something more than something that just is? Because humanity lives there? That does make the planet unique, yeah, but that doesn't give it some innate meaning outside of human perception.

You are saying that the earth has no meaning, because it just is. But you see you have created a meaning already, You see the earth just being and you take it to MEAN that it has no meaning.

Me seeing that it has no meaning does not give it a meaning. The idea of Earth having some innate, universal meaning is divorced from any human perception on the matter.
