The world? What, planet Earth? Sure, it doesn't really have some grand, pre-set meaning to it. It just is.

Of course it is. That's the whole point; you give everything meaning.

But in a way, its more then something that just is, like for example you said that it also doesn't have something.

@previous (Triptych !!/xkPL9myM)

The whole point of what exactly?

This would have been my answer if the question was "does life have meaning", in that one can decide the meaning/purpose of their own.

@previous (F)
Why is it something more than something that just is? Because humanity lives there? That does make the planet unique, yeah, but that doesn't give it some innate meaning outside of human perception.

Well i already told you, Its not just something that just is, but apparently also something that doesn't have meaning.

I don't understand what you're getting at.

You are saying that the earth has no meaning, because it just is. But you see you have created a meaning already, You see the earth just being and you take it to MEAN that it has no meaning.

Me seeing that it has no meaning does not give it a meaning. The idea of Earth having some innate, universal meaning is divorced from any human perception on the matter.

@previous (Killer Lettuce !!iNo3FkiZx)

You never saw it as having no meaning, remember? You saw something that just is.

Iceland guy, conversing with you can be a great challenge, sometimes.

This changes nothing about what I've been saying.
