Topic: not looking forward to speech class tomorrow

I tried to hand in that late assignment today. I drove all the way there and was so stressed out I made a lot of driving mistakes. My fault, but not fun.
I go into her office, and try to hand her the paper. That's when she asks if I have the seven articles cited.
Then when I say no, she explains this is what she's been trying to get us to do for the past two weeks and why she's upset that almost nobody has done it yet.
Basically at that point I had to either rewire the goddamn speech to have those seven citations, or just crash and burn with this assignment like everyone else probably will. Right now, after some scrambling this afternoon, I have enough sources cited, but they don't tie into the work at all. The biggest problem is that I have information on the paper I took out of my head, but apparently it needs to be all from the articles! What I'm going to do is try to figure out how to get that together before class tomorrow since my brain is fucking broken tonight from extra high demand teachers and being part of a class that doesn't have our shit together.
Tomorrow is the last day we have to get it in. I hope I can pull this out of my ass.

I hate to say it but college actually is pretty gay. Once I took a look around and realized how money is actually made and compared that to what I have to put up with in university, I decided in a hurry that I'm going to pursue a far less academic and conventional path in life. After I get my bachelor's I'll give myself four or five years, and if I can't do something impressive with my life in that time then I'll go back to the degree mill and get a master's or a doctorate or maybe even go back for that M.D., but until I am at that five year mark, fuck college.
I hear there was a time when college used to be all fun and intellectually stimulating, and actually constitute some kind of occupational training in many cases. Now, it means transforming into Dilbert and prematurely graying over deadlines for fucking philosophy classes so you can be spit out half way through your youth without any valuable, marketable skills or knowledge in most cases.
Meanwhile, some asshole who got a Russian Kettlebell College certification might be making doctor money by training like a monster all day. Feels bad, man.

I love the RKC.
Do you use kettlebells?
Or are you one part of the SQUATZ&OATS crowd? @OP
FYL. -_-"
All the best mate, if you can get through this you'll at least have a bonus with her. I would've offered to re-write it for you, but that would be cheating, which is always a bad idea.

Neither. I hate bodybuilders with an undying passion. It would actually take a little explaining to get the point across where I fit in on the spectrum of exercise fanatics.

Every student considering college should have to read what you wrote and sign a form stating that they read it.

Glad I could be of assistance.

I hate the disconnect between form and function. Muscle should equal power. I hate at least the common tier bodybuilders for several reasons. They tend to be completely hopped up on pseudo-drugs, full of macho bullshit about being an "alpha male" and trying to "get pussy." They also tend to be a lot weaker than they look. The fact that they're the lowest common denominator of fitness means that everybody who doesn't know what real spinal erectors look like will equate me to a garden variety bodybuilder just by the fact that I have larger than average arms while not simultaneously being a fat sack of shit. As a result I have to bend over backwards to not appear like some kind of meatheaded faggot in tapout clothing. It means I have to intentionally try to come off like Mandark or else I get thrown in the same mental bin as the shitstain in the gym other day who came in with a pushbroom moustache and was rapping "Ah fuck all y'all up, Ah don't care who y'are" while doing tricep kickbacks with a 45 pound dumbbell. I also hate everything to do with these "supplements." There's no fitness goal worth achieving that can't be done on normal fucking food and water. The fact that some girl I used to know accused me of juicing when I ran into her makes me want to find some bodybuilder, grab his "how to pick up chicks by being an alpha male" handbook and use it to smack the makeup and hair gel off of him so hard that he cries his whole gallon of Promax creatine infused liquid protein bullshit juice back into the "Built Ford Tough" style pseudomasculine tub he bought it in.
I FUCKING HATE BODYBUILDERS.
I guess when you remove that element of it, everything I do is pretty normal. I just want to pick up heavy stuff to see if I can. I like climbing and running around. I dunno, just doing the stuff that would be normal if bodybuildfags weren't fucking up the reputation.

I... I actually can emphatize with this position pretty well. :o > There's no fitness goal worth achieving that can't be done on normal fucking food and water
Abso-fuckin'-lutely right. > . The fact that some girl I used to know accused me of juicing when I ran into her
Dealwithit, that's the same type of girl who believes in "toning" with 1/2 Kilo dumbells, heh. > being a fat sack of shit.
I take it you're not a fan of the common "bulking-cutting" routines?
Never thought we'd find ourselves on the same side of an argument one day, but your points are pretty valid.
Props to you, sir.
People are dumber, and are becomeing dumber each year >:|

I thought "bulk & cut" was the way to go until I found some material and individuals who have found lifestyle solutions to sustaining indefinite clean bulks. They just keep lifting hard, heavy and frequently, and if they're going to have a "buff" appearance it comes from their hard physical exertion and they're always lean. That way their lean & buff appearance is just part of who they are, rather than an unstable transition state between fat fuck and fat fuck like it is with the "bulk & cut" system.
I've been impressed for quite a while with the results I've seen from ketogenic dieting for quite some time. Some really obscure literature I've found provides info on avoiding the energy losses from ketosis without the use of token carbohydrates, so knowing that I'm semiregularly in ketosis. Not 100% of the time because I'm just not that strict.
To me, there is only one physical ideal in this world, and bodybuilding, powerlifting and strength athletics are each just a fragment of it. I like to think that one physical ideal is something natural, that can be obtained by low tech and simple methods and a lot of hard work to become a persisting change to a person's physiology.
