Why was my post about Shyra from Bharatmatrimony.com deleted? Is this because I mentioned a girl who looked like her and tied Rakhi around my hand at the beginning of college?
The Indian girl who tied Rakhi around my hand had a relationship with a hotshot senior at her high school in Delhi. The parents didn't know much until a female friend who the Indian girl said may have been molested by an uncle called her house and told the parents. The hotshot senior was from a low caste, so the parents denounced the relationship.
Later, out of shame, the family moved to the United States. The girl communicated with the guy, who ironically had the same name as my first name (I was born with one Hindu name that started with K, which was changed shortly after birth to a name that started with M because I acquired jaundice.) The parents knew the girl was communicating with the guy and constantly put pressure on her to break up with him.
In college, a guy I was friends with asked if he could ask the girl to a dance. I said yes, thinking little of it. Later, the Indian girl got upset when he asked her to a dance. In December, she called and complained that the guy tried to kiss her and that she didn't want him hitting on her. The girl said she wanted to be the guy's friend.
Later, the guy called her and she yelled at him and made him cry. Later, the girl said she cheated on her boyfriend in India and they broke up.
