Topic: Any Wordpress fans?

I am getting really good at using Wordpress, and I am finding it quite lovely for producing some really nice-looking sites. My only complaint is that the Wordpress support forums are not very helpful: sometimes you wait weeks for an answer, and often, you get no answer at all. But otherwise, I think Wordpress is where it's at. What do you think?

It's nice but too many features for most of the things I had to set up so I usually use more simple CMS...

I see. Fair enough. I really like the vast variety of plugins and customization abilities.

Yeah they are amazing if you need them, but for some simple stuff I just can't be bothered to set up wordpress and then spend time disabling and removing all that to get it as simple as I want it...

Nearly every version and every major plugin are eventually found to have severe issues: http://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerability-list/vendor_id-2337/product_id-4096/Wordpress-Wordpress.html

For an amateur food blog, though, it'll work.

Is there any way to make it secure?

I'm boycotting Wordpress until Food Ergo Love's domain is reinstated. Thanks.
