So that means that minichan shall be getting SSL support as well, soon. It's already there, but with an untrusted certificate currently. According to their announcement this should change within 24 hours, and hopefully we'll be HTTPS capable then!

What prevented you from using something as Start SSL? I mean, sure I wouldn't use it for anything critical, but for minichan...
And all browsers accept it as a trusted cert, so it's all goodie....

They've partnered with several CA's apparently, with who they are generating a large amount of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Name_Indication certificates. Minichan however does not seem to have gotten one yet!
