According to ED, a few anons from /pol/ and /b/ decided they had enough with Tumblr shit so they organized a raid and denied Tumblrites access to their previous Doctor Who and Sherlock. Little did they expect, Tumblr decided to fire back and started to post porn on 4chan. Some girl apparently committed suicide which brought on the attention of the feds for the twentieth time which lead m00t to fire several moderators who disagree with the new policies and replace them with SJW shrills.

i was around before ghoul, and ghoul is mentioned so i guess that it was still being edited after i got here. but yeah i missed all the TC/MC drama. When i got here they had just moved to bunker.minichan i think.

i was googling around one night about random things and i was reading about psychopath/sociopath and the distinction between them and Dr.Robert's site had a bunch of threads with psychopath in them so i happened across it that way. I didn't really frequent that place for long, the traffic was low and the people were reactionary and self-interested. i made a bunch of troll threads but got bored once i realized people were taking my troll threads and trying to turn them into pity party threads and it was lame. The more interesting thing that was happening was that Dr.Roberts was under attack from "coordinated trolls with their own forum for trolling." My interest was peaked and i stuck around long enough to be invited to Tinychan and Minichan by Meals.

Nah. 8chan may have gotten a big upsurge in traffic courtesy of disgruntled 4chan users, but at this point, it won't be killing 4chan. 4chan is just too popular. And, really, most of the people leaving 4chan are from /b/, /v/, and /pol/. The other boards haven't really been affected by this recent drama.
As a side note, I do think that 8chan is pretty cool. I like the board creation feature, and have two boards on there that I frequent regularly. The only problem I can see with it is communities possibly becoming too fragmented, with lots of barely active boards being made rather than a lesser number of boards with broader subjects and more activity.

I wouldn't take that stuff at face value. I do think that moot is trying to tighten up the moderation due to all of the recent drama, but I think it's silly to say that he's "sold out to the SJWs".
