How can you tell if there is a legit "activator" on the web?
I know most will tell me to just download the software from thepiratebay or some other torrent website, but I noticed that is mostly for the programs themselves which I have installed.
I cannot find cracks or "activators" on these sites.

It's the keygen and a false positive. If you want to be absolutely sure that you will be safe, just buy the software.
