One thing I've never been able to really get over in my BBS career is missing the original Anon H/Owen Delong thread on TC 3.0. I had to work that day and by the time I got home, Owen Delong had been ionized and I've had to content myself with second-hand recollections and hearsay about it. I wanted to be there.
For those of you who weren't around at the time, Depressionman and "Anonymous H" got into a debate about racism, and either Matt or Owen Delong/Anon H claimed to have an IQ of 181 and the thread got to like 200 replies.

I think I've had a pretty successful fora career overall. Not spectacular, but certainly good.
But... If I had to pick out one regret of my fora career, it would be how I missed the exodus happening. I just showed up to TC one day and Minichan was already set up with plenty of refugees. It would've been entertaining to watch unfold, I imagine.

The exodus was alright, I guess. I divided myself between the two for a while before jumping ship. I just always wonder what would have become of TC without sK deleting it all.

This is actually true. I've absorbed unbelievable amounts of his shtick over the years and it's taken a toll. My mother's family comes from Louisiana so it could be genetic, though.

He wasn't really provoked to do that stuff, though. From what I recall, he did that on his own initiative.
Though I guess you could argue that we "provoked" his craziness in general by laughing at the stuff he did, but we never told him to do anything specifically.

im banned from tinychan though its not because ive done anything wrong, i have a dynamic ip and i guess the last few times its been cycled to addresses that have already been banned, each week is a different reason.
