The American right wing is a withered vestige of the days when things like social consensus still existed in America and needed to be protected.
Now, America is a grabasstic circle jerk of individualism gone haywire. The Republicunt party exists to protect that which is no longer there. It's a giant bluff.
The entire platform of the Republicunt party is nothing more than a thinly veiled plea that We Republicans (read: white protestant capitalists) unite and kick out all of the Different People shitting up Our Country, all under the historically recent pretense of defending freedom for "everybody" so they can look fair. It's obvious that what they really want is some kind of nationalism, likely some kind of white Christian nationalism, to catch on in party form. They just don't have the balls or social savvy to diverge from their fossilized standards of respectability. As such, all Republicans who haven't at least silently embraced the notion of some kind of nationalism as superior to Republican party loyalty are complete fools. Most of the Republicunts that actually have managed to latch on to some kind of nationalism, i.e. Stormfront, are even bigger idiots because they fail to see that race, religion and nation are not the kinds of things that can be secured by voting. The fact that they tend to be lazy, poorly nourished low-IQ degenerates plays its role as well; most of the Republicunts I've encountered are scarcely different from liberals in that they both want to see a force greater than themselves intervene for their demographic to give them special privilege.
I bet almost all of the true crazies and nutjobs that can claim American birth went through a childhood infatuation with the Republican party until they brained a little harder and realized the above, then promptly seceded from all political and ideological affiliations to forge their own path.
