Seriously, we need more context. You have $colors which is apparently an array of... something. (colors?) Then you're redefining it with stuff... No clue where ID points... Sorry, I'm not really getting what you are trying to accomplish or why. Having no clue what you are trying to do with this code, I'm going to have to bow out of making any suggestions until you fuck it up in a way that I can understand.
