Some homemade chicken fried steaks (made from country-style boneless beef ribs, trimmed of gristle and pounded with a meat mallet, then dipped in egg and breaded with flour, garlic, black pepper, cayenne pepper and salt, then pan fried and covered with Louisiana hot sauce), a few satsumas, and a bottle of dry sherry.

The dry sherry is for cooking, or you are going to drink it? That all sounds nice.

It sounds good, but keep in mind that bones, fat, and connective tissue all add flavor to meat. That is why Chinese cook with all bones in.

Of course, but the five minute pan-frying (pronounced as one word) is not enough time to Tenderize™ the connective tissue. I left the Fat® on, but the gristle had to go.

Fair enough. What about the McBones™ (pronounced as one word)?
Meta replied with this 12 years ago, 5 minutes later, 38 minutes after the original post[^][v]#496,032

Like McNuggets, the country-style (pronounced as one word) ribs were McBoneless™. I've never actually heard of chicken-fried steak being made with bones. Though I do enjoy sucking the marrow from bones when I cook a Boned™ cut of meat.

I'm eating apples and peanut butter all day this is great
My rez literally has the worst cafeteria on campus but that's okay because all the delicious food that the other cafs have is also disgustingly unhealthy. Salad+pasta for days.

Have leftover incredible rare tender roast beef. Its HOT HOT truly Hot so 2nite its going to be Roast beef on the best Rolls I have ever found in my life - they are baking Fresh for me currently and I have far more avocado's that one can use so its going to be Avocado on rolls and a side of Guacamole with Chips. Beer is the only drink that makes sense in this weather. German beer.
Hummmmmm Rice pudding does sound nice and the Mexican bakery doing the rolls just might have some Rice pudding for me as well - Will call and find out - otherwise its Banana split!

Glad to hear you like Rice Pudding - so many people I know turn their noses up when it is mentioned. I like mine with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
