Even when I was in elementary school learning about slavery in America a part of me wished I were born a slave. I would concoct fantasies in my head of what it would be like should slavery come back to the country, of course, this time ethnicity wasn't a factor for obvious reasons (I'm pitch white). I cannot even watch any movies about slavery such as 12 Years A Slave without wanting to be a slave.

The problem is, you THINK you would want to be one.

Even if you were born in the "right" century, you wouldn't be enslaved because you're "pitch white" (the best you could hope for is being a sharecropper about on par with the slaves). However, you can still be enslaved. Mauritania still does slavery, on a massive scale, and they'll be happy to enslave you.
