Both are fuck good movies, but also share similarities.
- They both involve long periods of time on a boat.
- They both feature an asshole protagonist.
- At the end of both movies, the characters find "Dry Land".
- Both movies have received negative criticisms as well as reflection.
If you wish to view Waterworld starring Kevin Costner. I highly recommend the Extended Edition as it has more scenes which explains quite a bit that is left out in the Theatrical Release. Sure, the soundtrack is a little cheesy at times and the dialog can be too, but still, it sucks you in.
