A sharp Bic razor (the classic orange/yellow single blade ones) with Barbasol shaving cream. I've tried all the Mach 3/Fusion/Quattro 3/4/5 blade razors and they're both shit and expensive. It's like shaving with a cheese grater. For the price of a fancy name brand shaver, you could use a new Bic every single shave, causing less irritation with one, sharp blade than five dull ones.
Use an alcohol-based aftershave, like Aqua Velva to disinfect the inevitable micro-cuts and prevent razor burn.
