What the fucking hell?
How do you remove this shit when it leaves no traces of extensions in your browser and ONE item in add/remove.
I do not even browse websites that should have these types of bullshit.
Fucking hell man, guides on how to remove it only lead me to pages saying to install some other unfamiliar program. JUST TELL ME HOW TO REMOVE THE BASTARD?!

Hi Catherine.
First of all, you probably installed something retarded and forget to untick some checkbox which is how it got installed. Most of those types of software get bundled with something semi-legitimate and they ask you during the install. It's scummy, but generally not a drive-by download.
Now secondly, I did some googling for you (again) and found http://malwaretips.com/blogs/surf-and-keep-removal/. Not sure what your issues with this is, you can probably skip step 4 & 6, though DON'T use their links for downloading any software, instead get it from the official vendor website.

Did you try removing the item in add/remove?

I am always careful to uncheck those options. This isn't my PC though so maybe someone else put it on there.
Malware Bytes is already installed and I did a scan with it. It picked up something with the file name FastAndSafe.dll.
I seem to have gotten rid of it.

Yes, it was the first thing I did though that might be a mistake.

yeah, once i was going to install chrome, and i went to goole.com or something because for some reason i searched google chrome instead of just going to google and the top search result, a paid for ad actually, said "get google chrome" or something and i went there and downloaded from what looked like google.com, but was actually goole.com or something, and i went through the install and was like,
wut.
wut the fuck is going on.
and before i knew it i had installed so many "search optimizers" and "systems checkers" and "download managers" and "social media tools" and god knows what else that i just nuked it from orbit and reinstalled.
gotta watch that shit, they're tricky bastards.
