Do you know any Trekkies/Trekkers? Can you speak Klingon? Seriously, there are whole pretend fan cultures that have sprung up. Plus, there are generational gaps (Kirk v. Picard) that are still hotly debated. There are documentaries about how crazy Star Trek fans are. (Yes, I just ended a sentence with a verb, but it was for rhetorical effect.)
Whovians may have come close to Trek-level fandom, and I get that there are generational divides in this group too.
But Bronies? No. The term "Brony" implies some kid who likes MLP:FIM and is too young to have actually played with any of the original MLP toys. I don't see many 30+ year-old women getting steamy-eyed about who is "best pony".
So, in conclusion: If I had to pick from the choices available, then I'd pick Whovians. But... yeah, I think Trekkies have you beat - by far. (And yeah, I prefer Trekkie)
