I really liked this film for its grittiness, and it made me think about other biopic films some of you all might like (not necessarily about serial killers). Any suggestions?

I have another one. It's called "Small Sacrifices", and it stars Farah Fawcett and she portrays a woman named Diane Downs. Down's shot her three children and blamed it on a fake hijacker.
That was a very nice read, toto. You know, the more I hear about cases like this the more fascinated I become with those parole board hearings. I always want to hear those so or participate in one one so badly. I recall hearing a few of Charles Manson's hearings and they are so strange it almost defies description. How about you?

I would love to. But really Charles Manson is not one of my favorite cult leaders. How only caused the death of like seven people. Jim Jones killed nine hundred.

Absolutely. I haven't been able to find too many of those infamous prisoners where their parole boards are documented too well -- I was merely using him as an example. If you know of any good links or something, please share! I would have loved to have heard Jim Jones talk about his crimes later in life... sadly, we'll never know. :|~

Hmm, probably from somebody more famous, or at least more well-known. I appreciated those links you shared awhile back about Josef Fritzl talking to authorities after he was arrested... I suppose if you know of any more well-known killers and their parole hearings, those would be greatly appreciated. I also enjoy interviews... They can be sparse, but I liked both Bundy and Dahmer's interviews. Whatever you think could be interesting? I think almost anything is up for grabs. Share whatever you've enjoyed most, m'dear.

A more recent interview with David Berkowitz (The Son of Sam). He seems surprisingly a lot more normal than expected. I don't really know what to think about him, but he says he should never leave prison and that seems like an easier choice for everyone.

I suppose you're right. What I meant was that he seems a lot more logical, cognisant, empathetic, and generally more like a real person. However, it's often the most sane people we should be worried about. ;)~
