The latest post on the TinyBBS development site says that development on the software will continue. The thing is, they haven't posted a new update since November 5th, 2010. I'd be okay with his, but since their "current snapshot" archive is corrupted, I can't get the latest package. The only version I may acquire is the Vanilla version.
So, did the team stop working on TinyBBS and would you direct me to the most recent package of the software you have?

You'd be better writing something from scratch. It's got tons of exploits and backdoors. I never thought it'd be possible to write more horrible software, and for a fucking 70's era text board no less!

This is exactly why I wanted the software. I want to make it into a much more solid BBS without reinventing the world. I like to optimize rather than create new projects. I get bored quickly. :)

That is what I'm going to be doing for a while. It's alright for its purpose; all that's needed are the security fixes and code geared more towards efficiency and the present.
