So, I read up a little bit on NLP techniques for seducing girls. Allegedly if done correctly you can fuck a girl within like 15 minutes of meeting her, essentially programming her brain to want your dick. A lot of people even go so far as to speak against NLP techniques because they are too good, basically mind control, and are therefore immoral.
Here's what it all comes down to: swing a girls emotions up and down, then center on good feelings, give those good feelings a symbolic association, something unique that only you know then just play with the created symbol.
If a girl is willing to sit down with you, and let you do any of this then she's already into you, and you're probably going to fuck anyway. And anything outside of this is obvious, yeah, associate yourself with good times. Say their name, smile strategically, use words like "now", and "because", subtly mimic their movements. Etc.
And the rest is bullshit. Hypnosis works only if someone wants to be hypnotized, they are doing the majority of the work themselves. Even in crowd hypnosis most people are just doing it as an excuse to act. There is no magic, or danger in any of this, it's just using a parlor trick, I'd even wager that it might work because a girl who is reserved, but would like to fuck you on some level might use your "technique" as an excuse to do so, telling herself "oh he october man'd me, there's nothing I could do"
But if one really could say a sequence of words and guarantee any girl to fuck him, regardless of how she might feel otherwise then it would be a form of rape. And every fucking guy everywhere would use it, all the time. And girls would be helpless to the whims of us men. And advertisers would do the same thing, and we would be broke.

Wow, this was a thing way back when. It re-appeared in the 90s. Way to be retro. It's re-appeared with the "I can tell if you're lying" crowd. BTW, It's (probably) all bullshit. There is little to no clinical evidence (some of it, like eye movements and facial tics, was studied pretty heavily when it became pop-psych way back when with no real results ever being found) that NLP is anything other than crap.
Also, why did you look into NLP to help pick up girls?? Of all the creepy-ass shit.. Some of the things mentioned ("pacing" in a conversion or "mirroring" gestures and body language) can actually come in handy in talking to people - not to mentally control them, but as an aid to talking to someone in a certain mental state on their own level. NLP is mostly crap, but they did notice some neat things along the way.
Do you buy "How to hypnotize women for fun" books or something? Seriously, you are so fucked up.

Sex is easy, pretty much everyone wants it. Meaningless sex with random people is just kind of skanky though. NLP and PUA etc just plays into the numbers game, meet enough people and sex one. No magic involved, just putting yourself out there is enough if you're not unattractive or really awkward/strange. The whole idea of manipulating people to get sex is predatory and creepy as hell. Why would this approach be something that interests a normal person?

Actually, in its defense, most of it is about motivating men, and improving self confidence under the guise of "this will get you laid", they talk about stuff like "inner game" which basically just comes down to bettering yourself. So, it isn't all bad. Even negging is a sort of misunderstood thing, it doesn't actually involve insulting anyone. The end goal is always just being yourself, and being confident about it. The problem is a lot of PUA people are insanely mysognistic, and the concept of NLP is borderline rapey.

Well, no. The concept of NLP isn't "Win broads into your bed in 15 minutes!" Most of the shit written by people who worked on it is pop-psych crap, but the people who thought they might see patterns in talking to other people weren't writing guides about how to hypnotize women into sex - they were writing guides about how to talk to people. In some respects it is insanely useful (lets say you work in sales or interviewing people on broadcast television) in seeing how people respond to certain things and responding in a way that makes the person you're talking to feel at ease or understood. I'm not saying it's a complete theory... far from that. It is much like the chans: a couple useful interesting observations culled from a load of bullshit.
EDIT: Also, someone reading books about "how to control women into having sex with you within 15 minutes" is still creepy as fuck.

I don't think it's fair or logical to make such a big generalisation of an entire group just because some of them can be manipulative. Just assuming that a person is going to be sexually manipulative just because they are a straight man isn't a good way to go about life, no better than assuming that a black man is going to be violent or any other stereotypes like that.
