In plastic there are chemicals that mimic estrogen in its effects. One of these chemicals is called BPA. Normally even men have a little estrogen in their bodies but it is regulated by the brain. However the estrogen is produced FROM testosterone, so when there is too much estrogen in our bodies, the response is to produce less testosterone.
We all have BPA in our blood. Its said that if you do not have BPA in your blood, then you aren't living in the modern world because plastic is everywhere, BPA has even been found in rain water.
So the big question is, when will this problem become so big that we finally start to treat plastic like the bitch it is? Typing with some plastic buttons, i guess there is a long time before birth defects in males becomes such a problem that we will treat plastic with respect. However my biggest fear is that, like any chemical, it can take time to circulate nature. So it might hit us big all at once.
