Oh, nah, I was taking the piss out of it.
What it actually is is considering all of the ways that you are (arguably) advanntaged within your society, like being male or white and stuff like that. You're meant to consider this stuff before trying to understand or interact with people who lack these privileges.

What's happened is that SJW people have taken a fairly good general policy ("keep in mind how fortunate you may be next to others") and taken it too far, with the idea that everybody should obsessively examine their privileges whenever talking to somebody else.

The problem is, it paints humanity with an overly broad brush: all white people are always better off than all non-white people, all men are always better off than all women, etc (for some reason the Jim Crow era white/colored dichotomy is progressive now – the more things change the more they stay the same).
