I don't consider myself a huge risk-taker, I'm not going about trying to stand up on motorcyles or whatever, but I find that a lot of people are just completely unwilling to take any risk whatsoever. An example I can give is "milk soda". Basically what I do is I add milk or creamer to a soda, like root beer or Coca-Cola, stir it up a bit, and drink it. And a good half of the people I suggest try it will absolutely refuse. Not for reasons of "I don't want to drink after you", bur like I'll whip up a new one, and someone will be like "No, not going to drink that." I do not get this mentality. It's such a minimal risk. I mean at worst you go "I don't fancy that", and you move on with your life. Even if it's absolutely repulsive, you just go "blech", and spit it out or what not, and move on. If you do like it, well then you have a new drink to enjoy, and make for pals.
So, why is it that so many people just will not try something they might dislike? It isnt a financial risk, a physical one, or even something that could be emotionally traumatizing. It's just fucking milk soda. I think sexual things are another big example, I mean, if your partner wants to say pee on you, what's the big risk here? So, it's maybe really gross, but you might also like it, who knows? And if you really don't then really - so what? I've met so many guys that are disgusted by the fact that I'vw tried my own cum, and I don't get why. First of all girls gulp it down all the time so it clearly isn't poison, and it's there all the fucking time. I mean, aren't people kind of curious?
I think it's a deeper thing though, I think it's the same mechanism that causes most people to just do the exact same fucking thing day after day until they die. Go to school, get a job, get a spouse, have a few kids, and die. With maybe a few adjustments here or there. To me it's strange and depressing that we can virtually lead any life we like or at least try to yet so many people would rather just be a copy of the people before them, and in fact have an absolute eversion to things different than the norm.
I mean it makes sense, we're hardwired to want certain things, and avenues are set up to get them. But Jesus, just try some fucking milk soda.

I wouldn't take a drink you offered me; especially not with that stupid grin, John - you kind of creep me out.

Sure. Your're being offered a drink.
But like all great street performers, beggars, and Mormons: someone who comes up to you and says they're going to "offer you something" is a fucking fraud looking for reciprocation.
> a physical one
In a bar. Won't take a drink from a stranger. Yep. *write in risks of doing so here*
> or even something that could be emotionally traumatizing.
Rape, because that's the most common side effect of accepting random drinks from guys, not being emotionally traumatizing... Even if it worked out... Well, I don't look forward to being emotionally attached to some guy who might crush my hand for no reason.

Your're a total douche for offering drinks to women in bars and getting offended that they don't accept them. (possibly because you come off as some guy who might drug and take advantage of them) :|

You should add soda to your cum and drink it.

You're just marketing your recipe wrong. Present it like this: "hey do you like coke floats?" (rhetorical question: everyone does
but it's necessary to set up the next bit) when they say yes, then say "well I tried making one with milk instead one day and it's actually really good, let me make you one!" Maybe also tell them how drunk or stoned you were when you came up with it, or alternately say you first had one at some trendy club/restaurant. Emphasize the relationship to coke floats. though, building on that familiarity.

Usually when someone protests I will make reference to a float, or a Colorado Bulldog, or something. Also soda companies totally did this for a while and had "float" drinks, it didnt last long though.

You have to reference floats before they object. Even say it's a type of float. Say it's a
Dallas Coke Float™ or that its the latest state fair food craze. Also add something like vanilla extract for a premium touch.

Can you not pick up a drug problem, John? You're starting to bore me quite badly.
