First they attempted to make The Legend of Korra a TV exclusive and now they're apparently making it a web exclusive.
Why is it a this or that issue? What is wrong with airing the episode on television and then making the episode available on their website the day after or even after it airs.

Sometimes it's cheaper and more efficient to just do a web release
Cartoon Network has got it down tho doing post-tv web releases as soon as their episodes air they are on top of things

they feel they will make more money from people watching re-runs than hosting them online and significantly less people will watch re-runs if the episodes are available online.
