I remember this, the whole thing was hilarious to me.
Regardless of whether you believe in the sovereignty of 'murrika or that the whole war effort was legitimate at all, it makes no difference - I personally don't believe in either of those things, or really care - the point is that 'murrika was at fucking war and some lady was involved in humiliating captured sand niggers.
If we pretend for a moment that America makes sense and that the war was not most probably a military industrial cash grab, any healthy country and race would cheer this woman on for her viciousness towards Different People. She's being too mean to people we as a country have decided it is morally acceptable to shoot and kill, everybody panic! :O
She could have laughingly, slowly cut one of them open with a boot knife, ripped out their liver, taken a big bite from it and forced the fellow captives to hand it around and each take a bite themselves and I would have cared less.
