Dolphin is special. I can't actually use Dolphin because whenever I try to launch it on Android from recent apps, Dolphin launches the last recent program and then launches the last recent program again and then flips the fuck out! It also spontaneously launches itself when ever I hit the "recent apps" bar. I really liked Dolphin browser on Android. It was good once; now it's just a mess that you periodically install to see how bad they fucked it up this time. :( I have sent them numerous "WTF??" emails, but it's just "oh a bug?" that'll be fixed once in a never for your version and device. I still can't use Dolphin to browse shit without going insane. Thanks dudes! Great browser!
Using Chrome on Android now. It works as expected! Like a browser! (So does FF for Android except it sucks more)

Okay, sorry Cath. I just had to vent. Your Nexus 7 (You have a Nexus 7? I'm kinda jealous.) Your Nexus 7 is probably running a different version of Android than your mom's Nook? (Not going to make a sexual joke here) (Did someone hack your mom's nook and install a really real Android??) Anyway, Dolphin browser that you might find on the Play Store comes in different versions and installs itself on different versions of Android in different ways - like most things on Android: different people on wildly different devices made by different companies have different problems. (For instance, on my device ... Dolphin launches itself whenever I hit the "recent apps" button which is endlessly annoying which is why I don't use it. Other than that, great browser. I wish I could use it for everything, but yeah... game killer. The fact my bug reports just get a "waaaat?" is also a little "meh". I'll use FF or Chrome as much as I hate doing it.

I kind of figured the programmers made different versions for different Android versions. But why does Dolphin on Nook have back/forward buttons and mine has a little Dolphin button at the bottom left of my screen for the back button?
I assume this is because they wanted to utilize the back button next to my home button?
And my Nexus 7 is a first generation one. Got it for the price of a Nook HD ($135) on eBay.

Depending on how your device and/or Android OS identifies itself to the Play Store, you will receive different versions based on your device/OS version. This is mostly a feature.
> But why does Dolphin on Nook have back/forward buttons and mine has a little Dolphin button at the bottom left of my screen for the back button?
Yeah, sorry. IDK. I think maybe Dolphin programmers are actually trying to make a Webkit browser that dolphins can use by punching the screen with their noses? No idea. Sorry. Dolphin is broken as far as I am concerned.
Different Android versions run different features in different ways. It's a forever changing miasma of deprecated function calls. :/ I like living on the bleeding edge of things, but it's annoying sometimes.
