Please continue on your path to being a lawyer. I know it is difficult for you; you have expressed your frustration on many occasions. I feel like you have a lot to offer the world. You seem to be a genuinely good person who prides herself on helping other people and using her knowledge and ability to stand up for what is right over and above her own interests. The world needs people like you.

1619 - a Dutch ship brought 20 Africans Ashore Jamestown, Virginia -historians have estimated 7 million slaves imported to New World during 18th century alone.
Them Dutch captured a ship with the slaves from Spain and off loaded then to Virginia.

What? You are completely missing my point. I could have replaced US with dutch empire or any other state that was involved in slave trade. I don't know why you are considering it somehow a fail that a country no longer has colonies.
