So I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I think a bullet point list of the facts would be most appropriate.
- I love cock always have, always will.
- I love MY cock just as much as anyone else's cock. The thought of getting it replaced for a fake vagina sickens me.
- If I was given the option (at birth) of choosing to live as a man or woman I would definitely choose to be a woman. I just think that a lot more doors would be open to me as a woman than a gay man.
- I sometimes watch Rupaul's Drag Race (Drag reality TV show)and find myself jealous how some of them look extremely fishy (I.e. Look like a convincing female).
- People in drag use to sicken me, but now I actually enjoy watching these kind of people perform and prepare for their shows. It's entertaining to say the least.
So am I transgender?
EDIT: Some input from our transgender residents would be helpful and not some bullshit armchair psychologists.

You are posting on minichan, so you are probably transgender.

Not necessarily. The first two points just mean that you are a homosexual, the middle one could just be a "grass is greener" sort of thought, and the last two may just be appreciate of that sort of look.
Do you yourself have a strong urge to dress in women's clothing? Can you not stand living as a man? If the answer to these questions is no, then you may not be transexual.

Is this your latest schtick?

> Do you yourself have a strong urge to dress in women's clothing?
No, although I wish it was socially acceptable for me to wear make-up sometimes. Especially when I have a huge spot on my face.
> Can you not stand living as a man?
Gay man yes sometimes and man in general? No.

nah you're just gay and love dick and are a mild misogynist i can see how you think you could be
but I'm pretty sure you aren't trans and just a gay dude thinking 'being a woman would be convenient'
Also being into drag isn't the same as being trans and there is a lot of conflict between those groups
you aren't trans you don't experience dysphoria you aren't a woman no

there's only one way to know. go buy womens clothes and try it out. but don't half ass it, get some nice lacey undergarments and a pretty dress and some high heels and a wig and makeup.

That doesn't sound enticing to me at all, I think I'm more in love with the lifestyle of a drag performer than the actual act of doing it.

Transgender? likely.
Transsexual? not likely.
Remember: TG != TS

I know it isn't and I didn't mean to imply it was, I'm just stating what I thought was related to my situation. Looking at the OP now I can see how it could have be interpreted in that way.
Most transgender people feel they do not (or should not) conform to the conventional roles of their respective gender. I think a lot of gay people would likely agree with that stance.

Sure, but not all gays are like that.
Though... Thinking about it, you may be correct, in a sense. In terms of brain structure, gays are usually more similar to heterosexual members of the opposite gender.

I do not think that being gay makes a person want to be transgender, in the sense that they want to change genders.
What I said was that one could perhaps view them as being "transgender" in the sense of brain structure, but then not really because of the first part.

I'm not inside your head, but these two statements lead me to a "no" verdict. > I just think that a lot more doors would be open to me as a woman than a gay man. > People in drag use to sicken me, but now I actually enjoy watching these kind of people perform and prepare for their shows. It's entertaining to say the least.
I think you are a gay man who views drag as an entertaining spectacle and who thinks the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, sex wise.
