Deutsche Telekom only owns 67 percent of T-Mobile. Sprint is (sources tell me) days away from closing a buy out of T-Mobile. Both are clients so I might end up getting more business or less depending on how fast the different technologies end up being dealt with. Not a done deal even if Sprint n T-Mobile shake hands. US Gov is in overload re AT&T n Direct TV & Comcast n Time Warner cable.
Verizon is my most Fav client for Ground based Cell infrastructure + A Globalstar Satellite phone never uses the Satellites if it can connect up with Verizon.
All my text aside T-Mobile is very good EXCEPT they have been ultra slow at upgrading across the nation 4GLTE. That might be a good thing depending on how the US Gov looks at Merger in process.
Big city driving to smaller city T-Mobile is infamous for dropout problems and I am prohibited from saying why. Can say many who have switched from AT&T discover they end up paying more and jam up T-Mobil buttthurt.

Clearwire kinda brings tears to my eyes. On one had it poured money in2 Qualcomm for patent use. Now of course Sprint does that in the doubles cause they use such patents as well. Its that I had higher hopes for Clearwire as a stand alone company. Because of the 2.5 GHz Clearwire/Sprint now use my lips are shut re SEC regulation which will expire after much law is decided by multiple US Gov agencies.
It does bother me that Sprint which I - damn can say so little cept Sprint ends up as that Engine that could...but keeps chugging along WITH MASSIVE MASSIVE Amounts of Borrowed other peoples money, continues to borrow more Other Peoples money Hey I have high hopes but I R not about to empty my wallet to help them and see the thing is - They frankly have always been slow to pay my bills. Up to 6 months in rears.

Wifi no counts when you're in an Auto driving from there to there (ONE HUGE Possible Exception IF IF IF but lips are sealed for now) So 4G on Wifi currently not going to make Mobile as in moving any better. And Clearwire always cherry picked Markets so Yes Major Markets but NOT when you or I is in motion -

Fact is Ma Bell USA did all the developmental work for the first Cell systems (Analogue)
Eu jumped ahead with Full on Digital. So yes Eu gets a lot of credit. However all that work MaBell did has remained in place. The Entire Bell design was co-opted by Eu and all they did was replace the Analogue with a digital design (which for its tyme was really most excellent) Then USA got payback with a far more better digital CDMA way to go. Now its going to be far more ODFM and variations with a lot of CDMA patents tossed in.
Bottom line is when Planet Earth contributes to technology WE ALL WIN - And my wallet continues on the more plus side then empty as result. Also I was sent to Sweden for a year on Baby Bell money to help bring over Eu digital technology to USA.
Its been a very nice ride indeed.

I use T-Mo when I'm in the US, but there's no good equivalent in Canada. WIND is (DC-)HSPA(+) only, with roaming fees charged outside major cities.
But with unlimited free LTE roaming on T-Mo in the US.
Fucking hell, WIND. Buy some fucking LTE spectrum and build out your fucking network. As soon as you get some <1000MHz LTE spectrum and stop charging roaming at my house, I'm on you like fuck.
