If its wrapped in wax paper and I am walking and eating it as in a festival. No want it cut. Cut makes it more pron to goo running all over the innards.
I don't buy pre wrapped ready off the shelf sandwich. I wood think cutting that in half would expose more of innards to air/bacteria while wrapped. Just a guess.
