I have bought Gunpoint and Electronic Super Joy! I will also buy Stick it to the man if it wins the current community's choice. Also I'm going to get the walking dead season 2. And Call of Juarez Gunslinger. The Witcher 2 is also really good, it's 4 euro. As is FC3 for 5.

It looks interesting for sure. The reviews make it sound like a ton of fun, I like how shit changes even when you're not playing. I'm hoping to find a good multiplayer game during the sale. I haven't found a game that's captured my interest in a long time, I miss gaming.

I want to buy Far Cry 3 but I'm not sure it runs on a laptop

It depends on the laptop's specs. You could always pirate the game and see how it runs.

I just bought http://store.steampowered.com/app/266210/ which is an indie roguelike rpg. It's pretty fun, and currently less than a dollar. The gameplay is turnbased, which is only really noticable when you slow down or start thinking about your moves since the enemies immediately make their turn right after yours and there's no further delay. A turn btw is moving, attacking, using an item in your inventory, anything like that.
The goal of the game is to get as far to the right as possible, while encountering enemies, leveling up and collecting better items. Once you will inevitably die your playthrough will be judged, and you will gain "hero points" which can be used to unlock new classes, perks or to expand your "dimensional vault". This vault is very useful, since it allows you to carry items from your current game into your next game to give you a headstart. There are also save points which can be accessed in several forms, the most common being cities which have an NPC that you can talk to to save your game. This save can be accessed even after you die, so you can retry if you do something wrong and feel like you can still make it.
While using turns the camera scrolls to the right, and if you go out of the screen you die. Oh, and the multiplayer functionality is a joke so don't expect anything out of that. You can leave pre-determined messages picked from a list when beating a "dimension" (world generated with a specific seed) and other people will see those messages when playing using that seed. They can also encounter your corpse. And that's it.

Sounds cool so I bought it. I also picked up PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate for $1.99, it's like a mulitplayer RTS tower defense game.
I also got 3 Mount and Blade games for like $4.99.

I was gonna buy it, but a lot of people said it's no good without friends that play it as well.

I played payday 1 and it gets really hard without voice chat and is basically impossible to do solo.

Thanks for confirming what others said. I wouldn't enjoy voice chat (nor do I have a headset). I imagine the game is a blast for the right people though.
